Background

When we asked the question does IT really matter to business? We found, that IT significantly improves efficiency and facilitates business to run their day to day operations better. Too much of IT drives costs and creates unwanted ‘fat’ around businesses which in turn shifts focus from solving business issues to solving IT issues.

As a Datawarehousing and Business Intelligence professionals, we were aware that a complete DW and BI solution can be developed using Open Source products. We were convinced that this would give the customer a substantial cost advantage. We realised customers can un-burden their IT issues and focus more on their business with a utility model of computing.

Not wanting to be a run-of-the-mill IT services company, we looked for a differentiator which creates ‘economic value’ to the customer. We were convinced that ‘Cloud Technology’ would be the ideal fit for tomorrow’s business.

In the Data management space, the complete data cycle comprises of ‘Source, Integration, Storage, Analytics, Reporting’ (Sisar). Thus was born DATASiSAR.

Our aim is to offer solutions in the complete life cycle of Data management using the ‘Cloud’ technology.
